Donor Advised Funds

Your gift will change the lives of our Veterans and their families!

What is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?

A donor-advised fund is a private fund administered by a third party and created for the purpose of managing charitable donations on behalf of an organization, family, or individual.  It gives an immediate tax benefit to the donor and gives the opportunity to give funds to charities.

How does it work?

A. You can recommend a DAF grant through your financial institution or foundation.  See links to a variety of institutions below.

The grant will be issued to Paws Assisting Veterans with only the fund’s name and address on it, unless you request otherwise. If you inform us or have the fund list your name and address, we can thank you for your generosity!

B. You can contact your fund manager and recommend supporting Paws Assisting Veterans giving the amount of the grant you want to dedicate.  Your fund will issue a check directly to Paws Assisting Veterans from your fund.
